Pool change notice!
We now have a lifeguard at the pool from Noon to 9 PM daily. The attendants that are hired by Pyle's Pool Maintenance are required by their employer to be certified lifeguards, and their expertise is part of the fee we pay for them to be there. Effective immediately they will be enforcing the rules posted for the pool.
In addition, they will be having a 10 minute "safety break" where children will be required to exit to pool to rest. This 10 minute period can be used as an Adult Swim time, while the kids calm down, take bathroom breaks, etc. Our pool vendor noted that one of the leading causes of children drowning is that they get too tired while in the pool.
One additional note: Remember that the pool rules include that no one under 14 years is allowed without adult supervision. Anyone under 14 will be asked to leave the pool area if not properly supervised.
Pool opening and key information:
If you still have not received a pool key fob for the new key system, or if the key you have does not appear to work, please contact Aleta at CASI. You can do this via email at azwilson@cas-indiana.com or by phone at (317) 875-5600. We believe the problems with key fobs not working is fixed and everyone with a key should be able to enjoy the pool.
Replacement keys as well as extra keys can be ordered for $10.
Pond Maintenance Update
Many residents near our retention ponds may have questions as to progress on treating the ponds for algae blooms, and other issues. Our vender, Leistner Aquatic Services, sent this update to advise why there have been delays. You can click
here to read the document (you will need Acrobat Reader to read the document) or you can find the document in the Miscellaneous section of the Documents link on the left.
New Place to try for a Replacement Mailbox or Post
If you need to replace your mailbox or post, try contacting Otto's Streetscape Solutions at (317) 882 - 8933. They are a full service provider for all mailbox needs, including:
- Custom Mailbox Posts to match existing posts
- Mailbox Graphics
- Installation, Maintenance and Repair, including installation and repair work even if you are not at home.
While it is not required to use Otto's, they do come recommended by the folks at Community Association Services of Indiana. The company that was formerly listed, Caporale Posts, has gone out of business. Whomever you select to do repairs to your mailbox or post, remember that posts and mailboxes must conform to what is installed within Lake Ridge per the Covenants.
Lake Ridge Photos
Check out the new wildlife photos in the Photos Section! Have photos to share? Send them to kdavidson@atworksolutionsinc.com for upload.
NEW DOCUMENTS ADDED!
A new document has been added to the Miscellaneous category of the Documents section titled Comparing HOA Dues 2. This is based on calls recently made to several subdivisions and this gives us a comparison of how Lake Ridge HOA dues fare with other neighborhoods in/close to Brownsburg.

PURPOSE OF WEB SITE AND DISCUSSION FORUM
This website is a tool for residents to keep themselves updated with what is going on in the community and to communicate with each other. Issues that need to be addressed immediately would have to be taken up first with R & G Managment via phone, e-mail or via the 'Violations' link on the left hand side. If one does not get a response from R & G Management within 24 hours, contact them one more time and then, if you are not satisfied with the response, contact one of the board members via e-mail/phone. It is also wise to research the topic you want to bring up for discussion in the covenants and restrictions document in the Documents section to understand what the HOA is and is not responsible for.
Residents should not expect the board to check on this web site daily and respond to their questions on the discussion board. If we do have updates, we will provide you those but it may not be immediate. You should be able to get your first hand updates from R & G which provides the updates to the board to begin with. The same thing applies to any contractor related issues regarding landscape, pool, and/or pond. The board just manages these contractors through R & G Management.
